Well, you have me on the delivery part. As some are aware, there have been some struggles at Dakota Arms and Nesika as of late. It was a major motivation of mine to seek entertainment elsewhere. Regardless, they are still great products. In all honesty, Borden actions suffered delivery delays in large part because of Nesika. I hate saying that, but it is the truth. the old Poulsbo actions were produced on Okuma VMC's. The code did not translate well to the Kitumuras and it caused a great deal of brain damage to get everything running again. This is one of many little problems that reached a critical mass last year. The end result was Chapter 11 in the courts. I was lucky. I left three weeks prior to come to Iraq and work as a contractor. The writing was on the wall. It is my sincerest hope that Dakota and Nesika are able to make a strong presense in the gun world again. They are both full of wonderful employees who have a tremendous amount of ability and talent. For sake of clairty. Nesika, at one point, was building the actions completely for Borden. this is how it was for some time. They were done this way in Poulsbo WA and continued well into 2004 and a portion of 2005 if I am not mistaken. I don't know the intimates as to why it stopped and chances are it wouldn't be appropriate to discuss it here anyways. My advise to anyone who has ever had a prediliction towards Nesika/Borden/Noveski is buy one as soon as you can and as often as you can. They may not be around forever. Small correction. Action threads are 1.0625 not 1.625 We know what you meant though! Chad
