accelerator sabots

has anyone had any success shooting handloaded accelerator sabots in any 30 caliber rifle out to a couple hundred yards-also, if so what caliber

They've been selling them on E-bay. Just type in "sabots" and you'll see lots of choices. I noticed them a few months back and posted a question on another forum like yours. I didn't get encouraging results. Sounds like if you got 4" groups you'd have a tack driver and 6-8" would be the norm at 100 yds. Maybe someone here will tell you different but I've not seen anything positive on the idea.
