Shot the 151 AHs for the first time this morning using IMR8208XBR. Loaded up 1 round each in 0.5 gr steps from 43-47.5 gr. Brass was sized with Redding dies with expander removed. Measured 0.006 neck tension. Temperature was 37 deg. Velocity recorded on CD ProCronoDLX. Start Low and work up on charge weight! Winchester M70 FTW SS - 308Win 22in Factory 1in12 twist Lapua Brass - Trimmed 2.006 Fed 215 COAL - 2.863 1) 43.0 - Did not record 2) 43.5 - 2711 3) 44.0 - 2791 4) 44.5 - 2786 5) 45.0 - 2842 6) 45.5 - 2861 7) 46.0 - 2882 8) 46.5 - 2929 9) 47.0 - 2951 10) 47.5 - 2971 Never saw any signs of pressure. Shots 7,8, and 9 are touching. May load up a few more but 47.5 is right where the load starts compressing for me so I'm not sure how much more I can load before it starts pushing the bullet back out. Will probably load a couple up and let them sit for a few days and see if the COAL changes. Was able to pick up a lb of Benchmark so will load up a similar ladder and see if I can get a little bit higher velocities.
