Two VERY Different Presidents As an individual and as Governor of California, Ronald Reagan steadfastly held to his belief in U.S. American citizens' Constitutional Rights, including their Right as individuals, to Bear Arms. He held to this position throughout his U.S. Presidency, even after an assassin attempted to murder him in 1981. A 1983 quote of then U.S. President, Ronald Reagan; "You won't get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There's only one way to get real gun control: Disarm the thugs and the criminals, lock them up, and if you don't actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time... It's a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm are not fazed by gun controllers. I happen to know this from personal experience." So, when elected, what does Democrat President, Bill Clinton do? Well, in his infinite wisdom, he goes and lobbys for, and then imposes the 1994 Crime Bill package, which included the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act, commonly known as the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, on law abiding citizens, which has had no measurable positive impact on reducing crime, or even slightly detours criminals! Gee, I wonder if Hillary's insanity is a result of infection by proximity, or was she just naturally that way to begin with? Maybe it is contagious, and she infected Bill, long ago! It sure seems like everyone who gets too close to her contracts it! Look what has happened to most of the rest of the Democratic Party lately... "Don't drink the Kool-Aid!" Two very different U.S. Presidents… Which one is your hero?
