After a long while of lurking in the shadows I wanted to introduce myself in this thread to specifically say thanks to the guys posting valuable info. Below are a couple pics of my m700 with a shilen match grade barrel in 1:8.5 twist in a pillar and bed factory bdl stock. I'm still waiting on the factory trigger guard on backorder from remington but that may never come so I recently threw a black one off an sps on there. I've only been reloading for a year and I still need to figure out a load but im sticking with partitions and accubonds and selling my bergers, eld-x and sierras. I started reloading when a 338 Jarrett passed through a LGS for pennies on the dollar (no need for that cannon on long island). I never thought I would like any of my m700's more than the 338J but the 7STW is stealing the show. I have some time to develop a load before me and dad go searching for Elk. Hopefully the barrel has enough life left.
