Jjmp, how are you my friend. The Sako 75 I had, i was told by the dealer that i got it from, said that the person he bought it from was a Sako collector. I guess he had a plenty of them. Mine was unfired, but not in a box, but i was told it was 1-10. I didnt actually measure it, just ran with what i was told. In my situation, with that rifle, it didnt matter. The biggest bullet i used was a 162 Amax. Boy, that load would shoot in that rifle. And you could seat them really long too. My best 7stw, one of the many that i owned, was a put together rifle i built, from a seven mag 700 action, a rechambered ss fluted 7mag barrel, with minimal firings on it, 26 inches. That was my all time best. I put a Bobby Hart stock on it, and new bottom metal, and would shoot lites out. I would put thst things accuracy up against any custom made gun, and embarrass the custom gun owner! Special thanks to my "Brother Bean" for the stock! I dont know how many deer i killed with it, but i know i wouldnt want to clean that many now. None ever walked away from it. That rifle was , and still is a jewel.
