[QUOTE="Wyo7200, post: 1053482, member: 82337"] I've had good luck starting with the tested COAL that Nosler lists, EXCEPT their .300 blkout COAL... tis a bit dangerous by 20k psi with my components capacity. If you want speed, Retumbo is estimated to be a bit faster. Actual results may vary as your components are surely different than what was used for the model, and I am guessing that you have a 26" barrel here. Using Noslers case capacity. If the velocities are close to real world results, I'd venture to say you'll find your top node somewhere near 69.7gr of 1000. Just a SWAG. [code]Cartridge : 7 mm Rem. L6: 3.250 inch = 82.55 mm Barrel Length : 26.0 inch = 660.4 mm Predicted Data for Indicated Charges of the Following Powders. Matching Barrel Time: 1.326 milliseconds These calculations refer to your specified settings in QuickLOAD 'Cartridge Dimensions' window. C A U T I O N : any load listed can result in a powder charge that falls below minimum suggested loads or exceeds maximum suggested loads as presented in current handloading manuals.
