[QUOTE="MudRunner2005, post: 766833, member: 12995"] Of the 2 mentioned, I'd pick Sendero, hands-down a much prettier gun, with the stainless fluted barrel, jeweled bolt, and I LOVE the Sendero stocks. If you are looking into guns in that price range, you should also not discredit the 700 5R in .300 WinMag...It's also a shooter, if you can get your hands on one. They tend to be quite elusive around these parts. Local store has one, but they want $1,300 for it, and I don't have that kind of cheese right now. As for Scope and optics setup.....I'd go with an EGW Heavy Duty 20MOA base and TPS Aluminum Heavy Duty rings (Low-Medium depending on scope size). As for scope....That's tough. My first choice would be a Nightforce NXS 8.5-32x56 1/10 adjustment, Zero-Stop, with MOAR reticle. It's my dream scope....But I don't have that kind of cash to drop on a scope right now. I probably will once I get my custom build under-way. But if money is tighter, the Zeiss 6.5-20x50 1" scope with Mil-Dot reticle is an excellent choice! And can be had for $799 @ Midway. I have one on my Sendero SF in 7mmSTW. Quality is awesome, and it lets in a TON of light for a 1" tube. You will be VERY impressed. If you want a decent 30mm scope for a lower price, that will work just fine (I have one of these on my 700 5R .308, and I can shoot lights-out with it)...Konus M-30 8.5-32x52.
