I recently purchased a brand new Model 700 ADL 270 Win rifle to build a 6.5x284 on. I have looked at North Land Shooting Supplies Criterion Barrels as well as McGowan Barrels. Looking for 28" 1:7.5 Twist. Are these barrels pretty good? Rifle will be used just to bang steel. Really wanting to shoot the 150's or 156's out of it. What you guys think on this or to shoot those longer bullets I would need to have the barrel throated for them? Thanks MKG
