Let alone all there was to gain by improving the throat design and seating the bullets out. Imagine shoving a 147gr ELD M into 2.8" on a 260 to meet SAAMI spec? That's why they did the Creedmoor. It's always been spec'd at 1:8" twist. It's better for long, heavy-for-caliber projectiles and can be hand loaded or used with factory ammo. Apparently that is evil...</p></blockquote><p></p>
