[QUOTE="Swamplord, post: 888603, member: 2460"] I have yet to fire the 338 Wolverine wildcat , the pic I posted is of a die formed case with proper neck length but shoulder will be slightly bumped up to 35 degrees by fireforming, ( the case neck has been sized down far enough for proper headspace for fireforming ... ) with the 375 Mjolnir I used max load data for the 378 Wby for fireforming and starting loads...... I am using max book loads for the 338-378 Wby that consist of Speer 200 gr Hot Cor bullets and 114 gr of RL25 for fireforming ...... Case water capacity is 33 gr more than the 338 Lapua Mag..... Just received the new Gen 4 KRG Whiskey 3 chassis and a Benchmark Muscle Brake, smith is in process of threading and chambering the 33" Benchmark bbl and making me a 40 moa base for the Nightforce rings . Expecting 3200-3250 fps with 300 gr Berger OTM, case dimensions were developed to seat that bullet to base of neck without shank of bullet protruding below bottom of neck... Velocity is an estimate based on capacity and comparison to similar capacity cartridges powders I have and will be testing RL 50 RL 33 RL 25 H 50BMG US 869 Retumbo H1000 IMR 7828 RS Magnum the beauty of this cartridge is if you have a 338 Lapua, 338-378 Wby or 8.59 Lazzeroni Titan all you do is rechamber and with some minor bolt work you are there... John Whidden can crank you out a set of case forming and reloading dies, he made me a set of three dies that form the 416 Grizzly and 375 Mjolnir with each step as you size down to 338" , I will be sending him 3 fired cases for a set of precision reloading dies soon! I have a set of 375 Mjolnir dies and can attest that John Whidden does fantastic work !!!! after he makes me a set of dies for the 338 Wolverine, 300 Werewolf and 416 Grizzly it's just a matter of contacting him and ordering a set.... that way your dies are in production as your rifle is being built for less waiting!
