While in Arco Id, when Warren Jenson was at Lost River Ballistic'..., I was doing ballistic research for another company; on another caliber, bullet and cartridge project; I watched the 408 Chey Tac growing up... At the time I was thinking; how nice a slightly shorten version of the cartridge; or the 408 case itself might be in a 375 cal. I was thinking very hard on Pac Nor product and having them make me up a 1-10 Polygonal barrel'..., back in those days... Perhaps some one of you may have already tried the Pac Nor barrel I'm speaking of... In the end, like most projects another one got in the way and I never went back to it. I probable should have with their bullet manufacturing machine they had at the time, all that was needed was too tell the machine what design(s) you wanted and bingo'..., you had it in hand step into the back room loaded it; move to the next room and fired it..... At that time I was thinking of a .375 cal in something close to a .375gr. Lost River {sold} bullet. Would it have worked? Who knows? 436
