[QUOTE="TRG65, post: 1698192, member: 103919"] Don't remember the twist I have. Its been several years since the rifle was put together. stabilization wasn't a problem. I was jumping them .020". Mine was a 24" barrel. I had heard great things about them, and from a bigger cartridge like the RUM, Edge, or Lapua, I think they would work. I can push the 230 ELD 2869, and the 200 was well over 2900. However, I just couldn't get there with accuracy with the 250 Berger. I had shot a 250 Accubond the year before and it wasn't moving much over 250 either. But it did a great job on an elk. On the deer I shot with the Berger, I didn't hit bone. If I had, then it might have worked better. I emailed Berger and they do use a thicker jacket with the 338 than on the smaller rounds. I think that (and no bone) was the issue that I ran into.
