Hey all- first post here. Was seeing if anyone has any experience with the Berger 210 VLD hunting bullets in the 300PRC? I contacted Berger and got some load data emailed to me……using retumbo, they had a starting load of 81.7 grains, all the way to 89.8 grains (89.8g is 105 percent case capacity). I first started with 81.7 and went up to 86 grains in .5 grain intervals. I got a hard bolt lift at 83.5g so I pulled the rest of the bullets. I then loaded up 82, 82.2, 82.4, 82.6, 82.8 and 83 to start….83g with a .010” jump gave the best group being 1/2MOA. the load at 83g I didn’t notice any sticky bolt, but I had extractor marks on all the case heads. I then checked all the cases and they all had the case ejector marks in them. The gun is a Christensen Arms Mesa. I’m a little confused, is the load data Berger gave me way to hot? Here’s a picture of the cases and the load data
