The OP was asking about Superformance and I found from doing a lot of Googling that there was very little information about this powder for 300 win mag. I have been doing a lot of experimenting with this combo and thought I would share my results for future searchers. I have a savage 110 FCP 300 win mag and my loads were only for this rifle. I started by figuring out the burn rate of superformance which was similar to winchester Supreme 780. I used the numbers for this powder from the Hodgdon Reloading Center. Here was my load and results PLEASE USE CAUTION WHENEVER RELOADING. THESE ARE MY RESULTS, YOU MAY SEE DIFFERENT RESULTS IN YOUR RIFLE. IN FACT THESE LOADS MIGHT EXPLODE YOUR RIFLE COMPLETELY. 300 Win Mag, 208gr Hornady Amax, PPU once fired neck sized brass with CCI #34 primer. (NOT MAG PRIMER) COL 3.420 Superformance: 67gr : STD = 14, Average 2734FPS, LOW=2720FPS, HIGH = 2753FPS 68gr : STD = 11, Average 2766FPS, LOW=2750FPS, HIGH = 2780FPS 69gr : STD = 15, Average 2813FPS, LOW=2790FPS, HIGH = 2834FPS 70gr : STD = 2, Average 2836FPS, LOW=2834FPS, HIGH = 2838FPS 71gr : STD = 7, Average 2917FPS, LOW=2910FPS, HIGH = 2929FPS 72gr : STD = 10, Average 2973FPS, LOW=2955FPS, HIGH = 2973FPS 73gr : STD = ND, Average ND, LOW=ND, HIGH = ND I started to see signs of pressure at 72gr. I have blogged this information in depth at: Reloading for 300 Win Mag: Reloading 300 Win Mag with Hornady 208gr AMAX and SUPERFORMANCE Powder
