I like wringing the best accuracy that I can out of various rifles. Currently have two Tikka T3x, one in .270, one in 30-06. The .270 shoots groups at .048 inches, Using Sig Sauer Elite 140 gr factory ammo. Haven't been able to improve but can match that with handloads. The 30-06 shoots ragged one hole groups with Federal Premium 165 gr ammo. Didn't even try to duplicate that one. Why try to duplicate such great success. I am now working on a Browning AB3 Hunter in 300 WM. So far Federal Premium 180 gr have made it just into the MOA category at 0.95 working on some loads using IMR 4350 and 180 gr Nosler Partitions. Currently duplicating the Federal load. The first picture is the first two shots out of the rifle at 25 yards after bore sighting the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6 x 24 x 50 (Same scope on the Tikka's too) The second picture is using the hand loaded IMR4350 and 180gr Nosler partitions. First two shots were a bit high and right, adjusted the scope and you can see the results in the following 4 shots. The AB3 shares the same 26 inch barrel as the XBolt and shoots just as well if not better for half the price or less.
