Hey guys so my good friend was having issues with sticking cases in a 300 PRC with H1000 and 225 eldm bullets. He has run ladders and is in a safe node for pressure and SDs are single digit then catches one with 30fps up or down and bolt sticks. It’s been doing this consistently and he has backed the load way down and still catches one randomly. Rifle is a bighorn SR3 action with a proof carbon barrel. Berger bullets have given him no issues with similar load development. He has moved from Hornady to adg brass and re ladder tested for the new brass and problem persisted. He was worried it was a die problem and was getting case head expansion and the sizing die was not sizing enough so he had the rifle rechambered to 30 Sherman mag. Problem still there even after switching to the Sherman. Is this a bullet problem? Have any of you experienced a similar problem with the 225. He is now running Berger’s and having zero issues. Any ideas?
