Hello! Been awhile! Never could get my rifle to shoot well…..was really doubting myself. So I consulted a different gun smith that I didn’t know about until about 6mo ago and he’s local. He looked my rifle over and gave me bad news on a few things. Apparently my rifle was not sitting properly in my stock and my stock needed work. After consulting with him and a local Weatherby rep we had my barrel channel cleaned out and also had my action inlet corrected and properly bedded. I loaded up 6 rounds(kids just wasn’t going to allow me to do anymore) 3 loaded with 82gn of H1000 and 3 with 82.5gn. It was cloudy and my chrono didn’t register and I think I needed a new 9volt. But the 82.5 grouped a .6 and that made me happy and I felt like hey….maybe I can really start working on my load. I am going to try and work some more loads up today and be ready to shoot. 212 Hornady ELDX OAL 3.632 From Ogive 2.908 Hopefully I will be able to hunt with my rifle this year!!! Been a long road but I think I see the end of it now. This forum has been invaluable and with out y’all I would be up _______ creek with out a paddle Ps I now also have cci250 primers but sticking with fed215m for now. I am using the 212 ELDX due to my rifle not feeding the Berger’s properly. But May just go the single shot route and run them. I have 215s but I have more 212 ELDX. Also have ABLR 210s, and 220 ELDX, and Berger 200.2x
