280 Ai Seating Die

Can you use a standard 280 Remington Seating die for a 280ai?

I'm not sure about a 280 Rem die. I use a 7mm mag RCBS Competition seating die to seat my 280 AI. I was told that you could seat any .284 with this seating die as long as you had the proper shell holder. I verified it with RCBS before I done it though.

You can do alot of things, but I doudt the case will be supported very well because of the shoulder being pushed forward on the AI. Only measuring your runout and desired runout will determine whether it works for what your after.
