[QUOTE="cajun, post: 2057167, member: 9772"] I believe the Redding shell holders let you size less not more. The die manufacturers instructions are pretty generic. At least you are measuring while sizing which is good. I have some dies that need to be turned past contact and full came over with an RCBS press to bump the shoulder .002. Then I have some that if you follow the directions you are pushing the shoulder back .010 to.012 every time which is a recipe for a case head separation. The point is there is a .010 tolerance in a saami chamber dimension. If you are on the long end you should be careful sizing brass. If you are on the short end you may have to have full came over just get minimum shoulder bump. And there are some rare cases where you get a die that will not push the shoulder back. This is usually a chamber to minimum or maybe below and a die that is not quite sizing to minimum. There are tolerances in everything. Make sure all the slack is out your press. If your brass chambers easily you are good. If you start feeling resistance closing the bolt and your die is not bumping the shoulder you can try another die or sand .002 off the shell holder.
