Next up it was time to go back to the range and verify dope. Before I verified my dope, I had to try one more time to see if I could duplicate the 1/4" group. In the end, it shot shot close to the same as the load just off the lands which duplicated several times. Since they fit into the mag and feed fine from the mag, I decided to stick to the original length. Here are those results: After I convinced myself I was satisfied with the accuracy of the gun, I verified my dope out to 800 yards. Here are the final results: ***NOTE*** At around 75-80 rounds, the rifle speed up 110fps which is exactly what I was told to expect once the barrel broke in. Very satisfied with the build, load, and glass. The only thing I would change is doing the build sooner and not having wasted all the time on the Christensen. I leave on the 16th for a mule deer hunt in Montana. Hopefully, my first mule deer kill is the guns first kill. Hope this post helps someone along their path to a rifle build or finding accuracy.
