If I had the chance , I think I would try both the 130 Grn. and the 150 Grn. Nosler Ballistic Tips on hogs. I also think they would be really EXCELLENT on deer. In my 270 Win, that Ballistic Tip bullet is my #1 choice for Whitetail Deer . If you felt that you wanted to make a hole on Both Sides of the animal, there are always the Nosler Partitions. in 130 Grn/. and 150 Grn. Lots of other brands too. What a perfect opportunity for you to TEST various bullets, in different weights, and at different velocities. I don't know the bag limits on how many hogs you are allowed to shoot in a season. On the outdoor channel, it looks like guys will shoot several Hogs in one shooting session. If you're allowed to take 5 or 6 in a season, that's a great opportunity. If you are allowed more, that's the basis of a fantastic study . Please keep us in the loop as to your results. I will let everyone know how the ABLR's worked( or did not work ) on whitetails in the 400 to 500 yard Carolina bean fileds. Good Luck Buddy
