Are you 100% set on those? Maybe try the 140 classic hunter. Better BC, faster velocity, and likely easier to tune with the hybrid ogive.

That's what I've been trying for a month. Several powders and all the seating depths. Your reasoning made sense to me as well! I had a few 150s left and tried them and it was magic.
