I have a similar problem/issue with a 284 that when packed tot he rim with H4831SC in a very compressed load that the book says i should be getting 2900 out of with 140 accubonds i am getting closer to 2630. This was close to a book max load but i literally was into the neck with the powder. It is extremely accurate for a light weight hunting gun and at 600 i was shooting sub 2.5 inch groups but when i thought i would need 11 minutes of elevation i actually needed 16. My dilemma is that i don't care so much about the trajectory as ill take accuracy any day in a medium range gun but the velocity at which the bullet hits. At 600 i am getting sub 1800 fps and that is becoming my limiting factor. I guess its just not easy to get everything you want at all times.
