needing some help with next steps in reloading for my 270 win Remington Sendero. I’m using the following components: New nosler brass Federal 210m primer Nosler partition 150gr H4831sc powder Tried a range of powders from book minimum working up at 20 thou off and all groups were inconsistent. Next range trip I tried 45 thou off and 3 groups were 1” or less, so much better. I chrono’d the following velocities in the charge weights last time out (no pressure signs yet but I am at book max at 58.5gr) 57.0gr - (2,914 fps) 57.5gr - (2,945 fps) 58.0gr - (2,980 fps) 58.5gr - (2,977 fps) - best group, last picture I have been spoiled with Berger’s shooting really well on the first or second range trip in other calibers. **I’m looking for input on what charge weights to revisit next time, based upon the groups pictured and the posted velocities. My initial thought is to work around the 58.5gr charge weight up and down .1gr increments at the same COAL, or between 58-58.5 since there’s a flat spot in velocity. Thanks for any help!
