I have a love/hate thing with .25 caliber cartridges. I'm an addict I guess. I've had 3 .257s and 4 25-'06s. Only one, of all things, a Ruger 77 RL (tang safety vintage) in .257, shot well. I eventually got one of the .25-'06s, a Ruger 77 VT, to shoot well but it took 2 years and a lot of work. I had a SF Sendero, which I expected to do well, that was a real _dog_. In spite of that, I've got a Winchester 70 "coyote" in .25 WSSM backordered. My thought is the .25 WSSM looks like a scaled up 6 ppc. I'm real interested to see how it does with 100 grain ballistic tips, 115 grain VLDs, and so on. I'm sure once it's here and I get some time to work with it, I'll post my results. If anyone has .25 WSSM load data, please pass it along. I've been searching but so far, no luck.
