I don't have any experience with the 25WSSM but i do with the 223WSSM and the 243WSSM.I also have 4 25-06's and one 25-06 Ackley improved with a 12 twist Krieger barrel and a 0.285 neck. The reamer the factory ses in the 243 WSSM puts the heavy bullets way back into the case.If you were going to have a rifle built in 25 WSSM i would recommend picking the bullet of your choice and seating it so the boattail to bearing surface junction sits 0.050 in front of the neck-shoulder junction of the case.I would then send 3 such empty rounds to Dave Kiff at PPG to get your reamer built. The WSSM brass has very thick necks which usually isn't an accuracy aid.In the 25 caliber rounds mentioned above i have found no accuracy when loading light to moderate loads as they all prefer heavy loads. The thick neck in this case is a plus as it helps hold the bullet tightly creating pressure.I would try 100 gr nosler ballistic tips for dogs,110 Fowlers for accuracy, and 117 Sierras for deer. The factory 243WSSM has so much bullet in the powder the oal is about the same as the 223. Lynn
