243 & 1-9.25\" barrel twist at long range???? I have decided against the wildcat 6-06mm as a long range caliber as it involves too much in terms of case preparation and loads based on "other similar" cailbers leaves me to questions my own abilities. So i have decided on a Savage FV in either the 243 or the 308 as a mid range killer for varmint/predators. My question is the 1-9.25" twist good enough to stabilize the longer bullets used for LR shooting?
