[QUOTE="longrange300mt, post: 654804, member: 48442"] Im using the 230 berger in my wildcat. It is similar to a 300 rum but made from fire forming 7stw brass. Im loading with 84 grs of H1000 and a col of 3.700". Validated velocity is 3010. My first group shot at 100 yards prone with a bipod and bag was .087". The next day i shot 3 more groups to double check the load with results under .25" each time. After a few days of field shooting to validate i was ready for the season. Ironically my deer and elk we killed under 150 yards this year so i can't verify long range performance on game. However, it did very well, dropping a large cow in her tracks without hitting major bone structure. Last weekend i used them to take 2nd at the sportsmans challenge 500-1000 yards. My hunting partners took first, tie for second, and third using 338 rum and 338 edge and the 300 mtch king. the bc is right there with the 300 gr. 338! overall i couldn't be happier with the 230. berger did a great job with this one.
