Pushing for a Show, just not organized through Reed Exhibits! Letter To Governor Corbet - In regards to ESOS - Lets Have A Show | My Northeast OutdoorsMy Northeast Outdoors LETTER TO GOVERNOR CORBET – IN REGARDS TO ESOS – LETS HAVE A SHOW Lets have a show… A show without a weapons ban ! Great Letter Pete, lets hope this grabs someones attention and happens. The facility and all of the workers are still in place, they just cancelled today, its not like they cannot just switch gears and move forward with the show as was planned and keep the money flowing into Harrisburg. Lets have a show… A show without a weapons ban ! Attached is the letter from Mr. Pete Matesevac, please call Gov. Corbett all day tomorrow and move this forward ! What a statement it would be to have the show still run in place, and just not be about Reed capitalizing on millions of dollars, but it would save the Harrisburg and PA economy a reported $43 Million. Charge the Vendors a small fee to set up, charge $5-$7 to get in the doors, and they will come, advertising is already in place, staff is still in place, all of the processes are still in place to move forward for a show next week. 200,000 visitors becomes 300,000 and not only saves the local economy, but boosts it beyond its projected revue for the year. We save the guns, we save the show, we save the vendors, we save the local and state economy from an estimated $43 Million dollar loss, and most of all we save the heritage this show was built on ! EVERYONE MUST Call, Email, Fax, Hand Deliver, this message to Gov. Corbett’s office tomorrow in an effort to help make this right for all… most of all… We The People ! All it would take is the right powers to be to make this happen. I like your thinking outside the box Pete, and hope it works out. Dear Gov. Corbett, You claim to stand for gun rights. You said that you would like to see gun shows at the Farm Show Complex. Well, put your money where your mouth is. The Farm Show Complex is going to be sitting empty. Many hotels and restaurants will be quiet. You have control over the facility. Why don’t you allow the show exhibitors to show up without a promoter, without their admission, without their profits. Perhaps charge a small enough amount to cover the costs of operating and staffing the building; but allow everyone who made arrangements to come. I assure you they will. We don’t need a promoter. We will come. We will support. We will help out not only the exhibitors; but the restaurants, the hotels and the gas stations. We are proud Pennsylvanians and proud Americans. We can do this without the help of an exhibition promoter. Let us do it. We will succeed; but we must do it quickly. Time is of the essence.
