Scott..Thanks for your work and the informative "insider's view" of things. I was taken with three of your statements...You wrote the following 1..."The biggest surprise was the new Excursion spotting scope, folded light path compact models that are similar to the Lupy Gold Ring and Mark 4 models. They looked quite good in the show and the focus was smoother than the Lupy Gold Ring HD I tested, but real testing outdoors is needed ;+)" .... Question...How far behind the Lupy Tactical spotter would you say these are? And what is there price point? 2...your assessment of the Swaro vs. Leica Laser Range Finder seems to go against what I have come to see as a definite preference for the Swaro over the Leica among long range shooters....I saw it myself this last year when comparing my CRF to the Swaros in the group...I had determined from that experience that the Swaros had an edge in Extreme long range ...Has the Leica improved substantially or has the swarovski gone retrograde? And the new Vortex seem to have all the features I am looking for! 30-338
