Five or so years ago my son built me a 6.5 Creedmoor for Father's Day based on a Remington 700 action. It was a time when you could not get brass of any kind other than Hornady factory ammo. The rifle shot the Hornady ammo pretty well generally under an inch 3 shot groups ( I generally only shoot 3 shot groups as I am a hunter and not a target shooter). I then reloaded the Hornady brass using H4350 and Hornady 140 Amax bullets which improved the group size where the rifle would shoot in the 6's and 7's. Then Hornady produced their new bullets and shortly after Peterson started producing brass for the 6.5 Creedmoor. The combination of Peterson brass, Hornady 147 ELD M's, and R26 powder in this rifle has been a winning combination with the rifle consistently shooting in the 3's or better. A shooting buddy and I went to the range on a cold and what turned out to be a foggy morning. I was hoping to shoot out to the ranges max yardage which was 500 yards. 200 yards was as far as we could see. I was able to get 3 shots off before the fog rolled in and I could not see the target. This group was shot cold bore. The picture shows the result.
