This is the final load result in 300WM Ruger M-77 Hawkeye that I worked up for my cousins rifle. The Accubond and Ballistic tip are virtually the same shape and share the same published BC numbers. RL-17 @ 68.7gr Win Brass 2.610 Fed 215M Nosler 180gr Ballistic tip COL 3.320, .467 off Velocity 3026fps Group .388" It feeds from the magazine well without issue. The throat was deep and the jump is quite far but it shot very well. Ruger® M77® Hawkeye® All-Weather® Bolt-Action Rifle Model 7125 I tried a variety of loads and seating depths with RL-22 and IMR-4831 but the RL-17 shot best in his application. All seating depths tested were set at max magiziine and shortened in .020 increaments with mid loads until a nice group showed up. Then charges were increased in .07gr increments until good numbers or pressure showed up.
