[QUOTE="Foster_65, post: 770645, member: 27731"] haha not a whole lot of positive reinforcement. but i didnt notice any visible damage to the crown just by looking but i will do the q tip check when i get home. i dont really think the crown was damaged cuz it actually shot the BTs pretty decent for not experimenting at all. shot 2 three shot groups that were between .75 and 1 moa. it leads me to beleive that it has a bit of promise. i guess my next step is try some different lighter bullets. im thinking a 52 gr HPBT match from sierra. do you guys think that 3 grains will make a difference. i dont really want to go down to 40 but i wil if i have to. i really think the gun will shoot with alittle work. im just looking from some starting points since this is completely stock. the stock is no good and the x mark trigger in my opinion is pretty bad. got a trigger ordered and in time will definately upgrade the stock and bed the action. i think that will help some too. does anyone know roughly how much it costs to recrown your barrel?
