rem 700 s/a stock

I am in the process of searching for an upgrade for my son’s Remington 700 DBM rifle chambered in 7mm-08. My questions are, do I need to find a DBM specific stock, will an BDL stock work, and lastly, how much work would be required by me to convert the DBM action to a M5/AICS set-up? Thank you...
