Should not effect at all...Spring or fall?

Fall go Early October..it will be hot but the rut will be on--rams in with the ewes.

We have not worked out all the details. I was thinking late winter or spring would be a nice getaway for me up in New England. There are are three or four other guys interested so every one has different ideas.

How hot is it in early October ?

I was planning to use my Ruger 77 in 338 win mag for Aoudad with some Hornady ELD-X ammo. But ammo is scarce to say the least. Most of the outfitters I looked at recommend 300 Win Mag as a minimum. In the story that got me started think about an Aoudad trip, they were using 450 bushmaster and 6.5 Creedmore. But I have not been able to find that story again.
