Assailant Injuries Severe Falling Off Curb🤔

Frontier Justice.

USMC 70-78
We need to get back to old frontier, hang them on the courthouse steps, and let them swing for 3 days so their partners get to see just what might happen to them justice. Inconsequential crime and arrests don't deter folks with bad habits. That's kind of like "Time out".

The article in the original post is from an incident in 2010. A number of details have been changed and others added. I consider it propaganda. I don't know the source, but I suspect it was designed to accomplish a number of nefarious things. It's divisive garbage that should be dismissed as such. First, the criminal's name was changed to sound more "black." So, the person who made that change is racebaiting, plain and simple. Second, the actual criminal was not harmed by the Marines, but the violence implied by the fabricated injuries has lots of chest-beating and fist-pumping that normalizes using the military for law enforcement. Or, at the very least, vigilante justice. That's not what Americans want, right? Third, the added nonsense glorifies the police lying to cover up a crime that followed a crime. Now, perhaps it was meant just to be funny. But I'm not so sure. Perhaps I'm overreacting or a little paranoid. It is a fact that our nation's enemies use the internet and these kinds of falsehoods to set us against one another. I'm against celebrating something that not only never happened as described in the fake article, but should never happen in our country.

Well Pete, it sure satisfies some of us envisioning someone paying a heavy price for crime these days. Even it is pure fantasy.?!
With tip-toeing that goes around certain criminals, Soros-bought prosecutors and an overall disrespect for common respect I for one realize that the best of times are behind us, the lawful.
And criminals, well I don't know how their future could be brighter until the good people are disarmed. Then it's a bonefied free for all. For them.

Added: if more criminals "fell off curbs" less crime would occur. That is a fact.

I agree with citizens having the means and legal wherewithal to protect themselves from crime. I'm just asking folks to view these kinds of media with some skepticism about their true intent. I'm happy to be wrong. It could very well have been meant as a joke by an innocuous fool.

It was a better read than a lecture from a pretentious fool. It's a story implying that good Marines taking donations for Toys for Tots (it's what we do) stood up and stopped what "I" perceive as a "bad guy" with applied, overwhelming force (it's what we do). Personally, I take it as a joke by a guy that is tired of watching TV seeing stores being looted and cities burned as a result of a felon suffering the consequences of his actions. But that is just one innocuous fools' perception. TIFWIW.

It isn't presented as fiction. It was presented as an actual event. My concern was simply the reactionary intent. I did not call anyone here out as a fool, unless the author himself is a member.

Made up or not, I'd rather the message be spread that armed robbers that stab people are going to have a long recovery if a recovery at all......I doubt anyone on this site truly believes everything they read on-line, nor do they feel they need to correct possible incorrect information. Especially when it makes them feel good.

It is in the HUMOR section...... We all know a guy that's a total mood killer when they walk in the room. That same personality types into posts as well.

I did not realize there was a "Humor" section. That makes me the fool, here. I apologize to all whom I may have offended. Stupid of me, and I pray you will forgive me. In particular, @Phil Rizzo and @Quintus. Sorry, fellas.

No worries Mr. Morton. Your original analysis of the story is probably spot on, but in a world of catch and release and the constant protests of the sheep dog by the sheep while the wolf eats and laughs, I'll still take the story as presented here.

I can tell you that the campground story (#53 reply) was not fake news. I handled that complaint and would not have changed anything this guy got. This is the U.S.A., however in my opinion due to all of the freedoms afforded this country's citizens "respect" for others has been watered down to the point where it is digustjng and demoralizing! Do you want a perfect example of what I am writing here, just jump into your car and drive down the highway. The joke is that the universal signal is the "bird" and is the only bird that does not have wings that can travel 60 mph. Victims of child abuse are not just molested at the time of the molestation and it is over, that molestation for most victims is a lifetime scar!! Notice the final sentence of my reply, that the attempted solicitation of young children for money stopped in that campground!! Sometimes "street justice" is the only justice in this country today due to all of the freedoms this country provides.

My sister-in-law lived in Saudi Arabia for five years. Criminals were tried and convicted on the same day. She told about one guy who raped an American woman, he was caught, tried and convicted on the same day. His sentence was death, he was brought to a building that was under construction, brought up to like the 15th floor and thrown out a window. But..his problem was that he lived from the fall. So he was picked up, placed in a helicopter, driven out over the ocean and was then pushed out of the helicopter. She also talked about stealing in the country. In Saudi if a person is caught stealing the hand that the person eats with is cut off. The culture there is one where you eat with one hand and wipe with the other!! Yes this is the U.S.A., but our freedoms are being trampled upon by unscrupulous people. People with nothing to lose, or people with so much power that they do what they want because of their power and no consequences, to people who just don't give a —-t about what they are doing or who they are doing it to!! Back in the day, if you stole a man's horse you got hung. So horse thieves were scarce due to be eliminated by hanging or scarce out of fear. No disrespect to you, the reply was your opinion, however from my experience the reply is not founded or rooted in today's reality.

Unfortunately nowadays it's hard to believe anything the media puts out. Plus all the AI generated stuff. But this one does give us a bit of a laugh and lets us show our stance on things. I don't think I've read a post in this thread yet that says " that's horrible, that poor guy didn't need to suffer like that". That at gives me comfort in the folks on this forums views. Perhaps we need more tall curbs. A lot more

Anyone that molests a child deserves the death penalty. Period! It should rank right up there with murder. Or above it. Rape should bring the death penalty as well.. and don't sentence them and feed them 25 years if they are absolutely guilty. Just hang or shoot them and feed them to the hogs. Or sharks. There are more crimes that deserve the same. Even long rap sheets should be considered. Maybe a 3 strikes rule. This same thing might just help with prison overcrowding
