I'm looking for a barrel that will fit a Defiance Misfit action. I'm open to all chambering that fits this Action. Please let me know what you got as this is a build that I'm a little undecided on the chambering so share what you have. This needs to be a shoulder fit barrel.thanks for looking David.

If possible I would really like a carbon wrapped barrel.

Easy to do if you want one Defiance machine will make a new bolt for you. This will give you the ability for a switch barrel rifle in many caliber. Good luck with your build.

In Long Action, standard bolt face, I have a 6.5 -280 AI barrel I just pulled off a Defiance Deviant long action std bolt face receiver, should work. Maybe 5-6 rounds on barrel for break in, I just decided to build a 6.5-284 instead to use factory ammo. 24" long and deep fluted with a brake, add 2" for the brake, its basically a Remington Sendero / Varmint profile with barrel end at 0.82" approx. (I can get a weight for you tomorrow, it would likely equal a carbon same diameter profile)
Easy to load for, look at West Texas Ordnance, really set up for pushing the 142 or larger longer Berger 6.5mm bullets, like the 156 EOL. Basically just a bushing change in the 280AI dies

As much as I like the 280 I have to pass as I have two 6.5-284 Norma and just sold a 6.5-06 ai which I liked a lot but, I hated fire forming. Would you have anything else that you're looking to move.
 
Short Action barrels, I pulled a 22 GT Barrel off a Defiance Ruckus brand new no shots fired, and a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel off a Tenacity, maybe 10 shots fired, both are M24, Contour, and for Long Actions a spare 300 Norma Improved barrel also that fits a Defiance Action (Obviously not a std bolt face).
But if you're open to a complete build, I'd be interested in the action you have possibly as a trade towards. I have quite a few builds in the stable and would like to move a few. PM me and we can swap phone numbers if it's something you'd like to discuss. Zach
