I foolishly sold one of these a couple years ago. Wonderful rifle. Does this have the set trigger?

Yes this one has the set trigger. I wouldn't consider selling this one except for I have a 223 Kimber Montana that I typically use for calling coyotes. This is a duplicate chambering for me, so I'm going to replace it with a 17 Hornet or a 221 Rem. I love the 527 rifles.

Well, not really. I'm planning on replacing with another 527 in 17 Hornet if you happen to have one laying around….

Those carbines are nice. I have one in 7.62x39 that I bought from another member here and it is a lot of fun to shoot!

Heck, I already have one and I'm tempted! While not quite the workhorse that a Tikka, Howa, or worked over Remington is (meaning I wouldn't want to beat one up like I might those others), none of them can match the class of a 527's mini-Mauser action!
