Ruger Precision Rimfire for a .22 trainer?

Anyone have anything good or bad or say about the ruger precision rimfire?

I am starting to like the idea of putting together a .22 and shooting 100-200 yards for practice. My range has a .22 silhouette range out to 200m and they do competitive .22 shoots in the spring/summer that I'd like to maybe start shooting in.

It's definatly on the budget end at ~$399-$429 but as much as I'd like to just have VuDoo build me a .22 I don't know if I can ever come to grips with $2500 on a .22

The rpr 22 was popular at a 22 prs match I entered. The fellow who placed second used a rpr.
First and third were won with cz455s. Cz makes a flyweight trigger for the 455, it's pretty awesome

Thanks, I am not finding much negative on them, so I am leaning that way.

Well that escalated quickly...

Went to my local shooting shop and looked at the Ruger Precision Rimfire, then handled a Vudoo 18" barreled action and dropped it into a chassis...came home and ordered a Vudoo. Probably a stupid frivolous decision, but I hate buying things twice.

This doesn't help at all, but my ruger 10/22 target is pretty **** awesome. If the rpr is the same quality as my 10/22 target then it's probably a pretty good gun.

Anyway, I'm sure you won't be upset with a voodoo. Lol
