Well after a long hard day of making rifle barrels id like to do something besides get sprayed with cutting oil so..... what do you guys/gals think the best long range shooting or precision rifle magazine(s) out there are right now? ~WS

Put it in a savage SA and swap the bolt head out for a magnum one then just open it a wee bit if needed. Savage bolt heads are like $20. Plus a savage action will be cheaper than a Remington, especially for experimenting.

Depends on what I'm reloading for. My 223 gets 8-10 reloads. My 6mm-284 is a lot hotter/higher pressure so I only get 4-5.

What I would probably do is inlet the barreled action in then inlet the block and leave a little extra underneath. The fill the void with glass bed or steel bed and support the barrel to keep everything inline. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. ~WS

I haven't decided if I'm gonna float the action or bed the block and action together. I plan on shooting 107gr bullets around 3500-3700fps. ~WS
