    .223 68 gr bthp

    I am just starting to work up a load with this bullet with varget and getting super accuracy. I have got a couple 1 hole groups at 25.3 and 25.5 and the rest sub 5/8". I am .005 off the lands in a Tikka Super Varmint 24" barrel, sorry no crono readings yet. For me, this bullet groups better...

    What company makes a .223 bolt gun with a 1:8 or more twist?

    Savage offers 1:7 twist in the 12 VLP and 12 LRPV. Northland Shooters Supply has good prices Firearms For Sale - Complete Rifles - New/Unfired - Updated 7/3/09. After having a couple LRPV's and a VLP I think the VLP is a better buy.
