    Anybody loading a 6.5-300 with RL26?

AZ Patriot 17...26" Barrel, COAL 3.560, Case Trim 2.820, Powder RL 26, @ 88.1 % fill, 77.99 Grain, will get you slightly over max pressure 62,025. Velocity 3422 FPS. If you plan on starting at 70 Grains then the pressure is 45807 a very safe starting point. I am waiting to do more testing later...

    Accuracy lost on warmer weather

H4831SSC/H4350 I only use for 270 and 30/06, I have several Weatherby Barrel Burning Calibers that require slower burning powders and specifically using US869 for a 6.5-300 at 3450 FPS whereas temperatures in Phoenix heat will without question cause my loads to spike, lose my .44 MOA accuracy...

My experience has been the same living in Arizona. "Winning in the Wind" author an F-class competitor had a segment regarding powder temperature while developing loads. What his solution was put his reloads in a cooler with the desired temperature during his load development. That worked for...

    What unit in Wyoming??

There are abundance of Antelope in Wyoming, as long as access to public land is available there usually is some type of antelope in the area in my opinion. I.E. I applied with no points, drew a buck and two reduced doe tags. My lucky day right? Researched and decided to spend one week scouting...

Maximizing the 300 Wby Mag on a Budget

I’m working with my 340 , 250 Bergers, 250 Nosler AB, and Hornady 200 SST. So far thé Bergers using 7828ssc are at .17 @ 100 with a fouled barrel but they seat soo deep into the brass. The Nosler is at .64 with 7828ssc, thé Hornady is at .62 with N165. Hope that helps
