For the southern woods here in Ga I use my Tikka varmint 223 and M70 Featherweight 257 Roberts. A Tikka T3 lite in 223 and a new Redfield would work well for you. The 1-8 twist will handle any bullets up to 80grs.The 62gr TSX is excellent deer/hog medicine.

I'm loading the 100gr tsx & ttsx over Varget and get excellent results. I'd not hesitate to hunt anything in north America with. I've taken numerous wild boar here in Ga with it and it is one incredibly tough bullet. Seat it deeper than normal. Most of my rifles like them.050 -.070 off the lands.

I'm new to reloading first off. My current project is a Rem 700 varmint 26" sitting in a HS precision sendero stock. Thus far I've tried 139 sst, 140 bt, and 120bt . All under w760. It didn't like any. Any recommendations is appreciated. Thank you
