The backpack sling is the same. With a backpack it's hard to take the gun off you back without it hanging up on something. The gun scabbard is the only way if you need a pack but it moves my turrets on my Viper PST so you have to reset em before a shot

I found that info from plugging in Meindl vs. in my google browser. I dont remember which site but i think it was an Oregon or Washington forum. There were complaints that the rand peels off. Also saw one where it ruined a guys hunt cause water kept getting in after just one season of use...
