Looks like there going to try and repair it. So disappointed I paid for a new gun not a repaired rifle. How would they even attempt to try and fix this? Hammer on it then blend and re coat it? 111111 update: After talking to customer service they are replacing it! So waiting on it

Contacted Savage arms and there sending me a pick up UPs label. Wondering if the repair is going to be noticeable, ill keep you all posted

Very ugly not sure if its a safety issue or will it affect accuracy? Don't believe I should have to pay shipping to get this fixed though. What do you guys think?
