    The 6mm ARC

Sorry for the late response I haven’t been getting on much lately. I ended up with nosler cases, 31gr of leverevolution and a 71/2 rem br primer. Muzzle velocity was 2854 fps average. That bullet seems to be a sweet spot for bc and speed in that little cartridge. A bullet I thought hard about...

    The 6mm ARC

I bought a 6 ARC this year for my son to shoot. I had the opportunity to "test" it out on a ag tag deer in March and it handily dispatched her at 300 yards with 108 eld m factory ammo. I love this thing it's eat on the power can, easy on the shoulder and ears and it was very easy to get a load...

    6mm Creed on muledeer

I’ve used my 6 creed on deer from 50 yards to 470 yards and I’ve never had an issue. I run 88 hammer hunters in it and they’ve done a great job for me.

Reloading 22-250 with cool burning powder ????

Why worry about it? Stuff that thing full of h380 and go kill stuff. It will take the average guy years and years to burn out a 22-250.

    Sierra TGK Performance

Check the kill threads on rokslide. A lot of guys on that forum swear buy the game harvesting abilities of the tmk. I have them loaded in a 6 arc I hope to try this fall on deer.

Why does it seem so dead in the reloading forum?

    A.I. is the devil Bobby.

Why does it seem so dead in the reloading forum?

I think with the scarcity and expense of components combined with factory ammo being available and of good quality a lot of new shooters simply aren’t reloading. Case in point I just bought a 6arc for my kids and wife to use and I was at rural king and they had some factory hornady 108 eldm...

    Best 25 caliber rifle?

Make sure to have the throat cut deep enough to seat them long bugers out of the case some. That would be an amazing long range laser.

    Vmax jump…

I’m usually around .025-.035 jump in my rifles. They definitely don’t seem fussy though

    NF 3-10x42 SHV glass quality.

I would compare my shv 5-20 to an older vx3 leupold for glass clarity. It’s very useable glass. The only time I think you’d want better is in lower light conditions.

New woodchuck rig ready for action

No I did not. I tighten the front screw as tight as I can and snug the back screw up good and tighten the middle screw just enough to not fall out.

New woodchuck rig ready for action

We have a healthy chuck population still but, I have to manage farms and spread out my hunting only after the babies come out to keep farms from being shot out. I suspect mine is shifting poi too, I had a good zero at 100 and took it to 300 and missed my 6” plate with it twice. Now was it me...

New woodchuck rig ready for action

I could but with the barrel being brand new I’ll shoot it where it is for the first 100 rounds and I’ll revisit groups and velocity. From my limited experience it seems accuracy does change and velocity speeds up.

New woodchuck rig ready for action

My wife gifted me a new in box 1978 Ruger m77V 25-06 for Christmas last year. I love Ruger 77s and as per every 77, I go through and accurize it. The system has yet to fail to produce a very accurate rifle. -floated the barrel -floated the mag box -lap the scope rings -install a new trigger...
