Ok,so I tried the 162gr eldx with H1000 in every way shape and form,could not get a group under 1”! Dropped 3 175 gr Ablr in it and badda boom badda bing,guess everyone spends(waste) money on reloading sometimes?

I also found that after a good cleaning of my gun,it takes about 3 shots to foul it again to get it back grouping.How many rounds would a guy fire without cleaning?do you run a brush through after a few or leave it alone for 20-30 rounds,I know different powders and bullets will have an affect...

Might have to do a spring bear hunt though to try out the mighty 7 :)

Yes they do heat up,helps when it’s only 8-10* outside,it’s been a long cold winter here,have 3 shots and get in the truck for a warm,not sure about the temp sensitivity,but time nov rolls around again it will be the same temp as the 175 ABLRs I worked up so the couple boxes I have stashed...

3 shot groups is what I fire,the middle on was just some 160gr AB that I loaded at 80gr just to see what they would be like had to fire them all :)

First and last shots are 175gr ABLR With 78.5 H1000 Middle is 160 AB with 80 gr H1000,starting to get ejector marks, Got some loaded up between 78-79,seems like my gun likes that range

Have a question for ya though ButterBean,I have 2 sets of RCBS full length dies.Is it possible to use one of those for a neck sizer or no?Maybe I can set one up to push the neck back a bit like you talked about the other day?
