It shot very well -- less kick (for me) than my Rem 700 30-06, but alot of things effect that.
Good accuracy -- no issue with feeding or extraction -- never had a problem and very smooth.

PD population still has not recovered from the Plague (between Scenic and Interior)

Some of the land we hunted on -- Leased federal land is now off limits for hunting -- Signs Posted by NPS.
So looks like we are off to find better location...
Went last year in June to Western South Dakota and Western Nebraska
-- Population in Western SD was down from previous years and in my opinion not worth making a trip back to

So question is does any one know about the population...
Well just back from PD Hunting/Shooting in Interior.
Interior SD -- the population has been hit hard by the plauge/illness -- Day 1 I had a total of 8 and my group of 4 had about 30. We did talk to the gentleman at the Cowboy Corner (Gas Station/Conv Store) who gave us a good lead on a farm...
Any update -- I am heading out on Saturday to the Circle View for shooting from Sunday to Wednesday then off to NW Nebraska to try out another location.

I have also have walked into the small PD towns and used by backpack to shoot off of -- just be careful of the cow pattys and other...
