The 30-378 is a fairly hot chambering and from what I have heard peak accuracy is lost after 800-1000 rounds. Barrel life depends on more factors than just rounds fired. Following a proper cleaning procedure (bore guide) helps to reduce any unecessary wear. Good luck with that...
